Job Description:
ROLE Fixed income execution trader on a discretionary macro
portfolio management team focused on mortgage-backed securities,
TBAs, and specified pool markets. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and
enhance tools for analysis of MBS/MBS option and spec pool trading.
Execute trades on behalf of PM portfolio across MBS products and
hedges (rates/vol). Liaise and build relationships with approved
broker dealer counterparts focusing on best execution and
liquidity. Potential to grow into an associate PM or systematic
quant role. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Strong interest in fixed income trading. Excellent written and
verbal communication skills. Tenacious, detail-orientated,
organized, and proactive about potential operational risks. Strong
problem solving skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced
environment. Exposure to SQL or Python a plus. Commitment to the
highest ethical standards.
