Job Description:
A company is looking for a TeleHealth Teacher of the Deaf & Hard
of Hearing for a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging online instruction tailored to students with
hearing impairments
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in
collaboration with families and support staff
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to
students and families
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Deaf or a
related field
Valid teaching certification in deaf education (or equivalent)
required
Experience teaching deaf or hard-of-hearing students, preferably in
a virtual setting
Strong understanding of various communication methods (e.g., ASL,
oral, total communication)
Liability insurance required for contract work
