Job Description BAE Systems is hiring for a Senior Principal RF
Engineer.At BAE Systems, we deliver a full range of products and

development, integration, test and transition to production efforts
on complex electronic modules. Candidate will provide electrical
engineering support to a dynamic engineering development team,
working first unit test, design verification test, integration and
transition to production tasks on complex RF circuit cards and
modules.The successful candidate must possess strong technical
aptitude, communication skills and the ability to independently
work cross-functionally within the hardware organization and with
other engineering disciplines/functions.This position may include
the following activities:Design of complex RF circuit card
assembliesLead/Mentor a team of junior engineersSupport test and
troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of RF
modules, working directly with program engineering personnel as
requiredInterface with Engineering, Operations, Quality and other
supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root
causeGenerate and implement improvements in product and test design
and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve
throughputGenerate and review the technical content of test
procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports,
Engineering Change Orders, and other documentationInterface with
governmental customers and suppliers as requiredOnsite visits to
vendors to provide technical support to subcontractsProvide
training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as
requiredSupport RootCause and Corrective Action activitiesMentor
peers and more junior engineers in areas of expertise"Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- 25 years of work experience or experience in RF and analog
engineering is required
- Working knowledge of the full life cycle of a product from
Proposal to Design to Production is required Communicates clearly
and works well in teams is a must.Preferred Education, Experience,
& Skills
- Chip and wire, SMT, and module level design and integration
experience
- L-Band through V-Band design and integration experiencePay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
