What this job involves: The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. This position requires the Operating Engineer to be on-site. Schedule: Tu-Sat11 pm-7 am This is a Local 30 Union position. Must be an existing Local 30 member in good standing. What your day to day will look like: Complete assigned tasks that include but are not li mited to: painting, pressure washing, cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment ,hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls Comply with all safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Other projects and tasks to be assigned Required Qualifications: 3 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable Universal CFC EPA certification required Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive Strong customer service skills This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 113,360.00 – 113,360.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
