TAX MANAGER

About The Company

Our client is a global alternative asset manager with over $750 billion in AUM with a focus on renewable power, infrastructure, private equity, and real estate.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely filing of US income tax returns for private funds
Manage the K-1 and K-3 tax reporting process
Oversee any federal and state tax audits of US entities
Oversee tax form validation for new investors
Manage US tax withholding on cash distributions
Research technical tax and accounting issues and disclosure matters
Oversee tax functions and operations of portfolio company operations
Prepare ad-hoc tax analyses in relation to acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years of real estate tax experience
- A mix of both public and private experience
- Knowledge of US real estate, corporate tax, and partnership tax rules
- An understanding of cross-border tax issues
  
  Salary Range
  
  $120,000-$150,000
