Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management Supervisor
responsible for managing nursing staff and improving care
management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management nursing
staff
Monitor adherence to department metrics and implement
improvements
Train new hires and assess the UM program for efficiency
opportunities
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license
Two or more years of experience in Managed Care, Utilization
Review, or Case Management
Three or more years of clinical experience in
NICU/PICU/Peds/ICU
Experience in a team lead or supervisory role managing nursing
staff is desired
Experience with URAC standards preferred
