Job Description Because this role involves a combination of
collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form
of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and

ECS's Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Solutions (TacAir)
product line has an exciting opportunity for a material program
manager to join the ALR-56M team. The successful candidate will
focus on material management over multiple concurrent production
lots, and will be responsible for achieving aggressive cost and
schedule targets, as well as strategic partnerships and future
production material planning. This role will be based in
Wayne/Totowa NJ, with the potential for some remote work when
on-site presence is not required.We put our customers first

warfare.Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive project material management, including
initiating and planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and
closing on critical activities.
- Ensuring timely and cost effective delivery of materials
required for the ALR-56M family of programs.
- Manage system Bill Of Material (BOM), Diminishing Manufacturing
Source (DMS) issues identification and resolution on the timely
manner, EOL, material deliveries, etc
- Actively manage supplier relationships to maintain a win-win of
program execution and future business.
- Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, procurement
and finance organizations to develop and implement strategies for
sourcing, purchasing and managing materials.
- Develop, coordinate and execute program material strategies to
support the program, increase affordability and assure material
flow is managed to support the operation needs.
- Measure and regularly report out on program results, including
to senior leadership.
- Lead through inspiration and encouragement and foster a culture
of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and
continuous improvement on the program team to deliver affordable,
effective, and dependable outcomes.
- Demonstrate a leading role in promoting adherence to the
company's ethical standards and business practices; ensure
compliance with the BAE Systems Operational Assurance Framework and
all other policies and requirements; provide for good stewardship
of the assets of the business.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with
safety and security objectives and policies.Please note that
pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires
US citizenship statusRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's degree in a technical or
business-related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of experience
leading program teams through all phases of the lifecycle, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and data mining skills as well as knowledge
of procurement and manufacturing systems.
- Working knowledge of risk and opportunity management, defense
contract types, and with partnering with Finance to apply Earned
Value Management techniques.
- The ability to collaborate within and across organizational
boundaries.
- This role demands engaged leadership and the ability to
collaborate, influence, negotiate, shape, gain commitment to
action, and be decisive while leading cross-functional teams in the
execution of complex tasks. Must possess sound judgment and the
ability to remain calm and focused, particularly while working
within narrow timeframes and in a rapidly changing
environment.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to
interface and negotiate with and present to a variety of
stakeholders including coworkers, leadership, customers, and
suppliers.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of Government contracting, current acquisition trends
and customer / competitor behaviors is a positive.

- $234840Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
