GENERAL PURPOSE The Director of Knoll Brand Marketing is responsible for delivering and executing a powerful global strategy that builds the brand. You have strong PR, marketing (including social), and agency management experienceand can deliver integrated campaigns with excellence. You think and plan strategically and activate and execute effectively. You have a finger on the pulse of culture and elevated taste, enabling you to determine the right opportunities for Knoll. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Brand strategy and brand management Deliver powerful global brand strategy that builds the brand for the long-term and drives awareness and growth. Communicate brand vision internally and secure organizational buy-in and alignment. Develop global brand marketing strategy with clear goals that align with the vision. Partner effectively with channels/regions to ensure their marketing strategies are aligned with global brand strategy. Oversee rollout of new brand guidelines and ensure consistent application. Develop and maintain a strong brand POV on what is on-brand for Knoll. Marketing excellence Develop and execute high-impact brand marketing campaigns that deliver on the vision and drive brand awareness and engagement. Lead efforts to drive tentpole, integrated marketing campaigns that unite brand, product, and channel marketing goals. Own and execute external brand communications and PR; manage agency resource. Own and execute Knoll owned channel content in partnership with Knoll brand creative; oversee junior brand manager's execution. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, vet, and execute brand partnerships and collaborations. Write excellent, quality briefs. Establish a measurement methodology, optimize efforts over time. Can identify a winning concept and the most strategic way to execute; direct use of time and resources effectively. Leadership and management Develop individual and team talent to perform at an exceptional level and demonstrate marketing excellence. High EQ and effective communicator; develop strong relationships and internal influence. Bring rigor and focus to the team's efforts; can activate team and execute workstreams. Comfortable with navigating uncertainty, nuanced org dynamics, and limited resources. Provide solutions for addressing and improving internal processes; bias for simplicity and agility. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience 10+ years' experience in marketing, or in combination with comms experience. Bachelor's degree. Must have strong marketing experience (whether agency or client side) including social media. Experience managing agency and cross functional teams, as well as global brand experience. Located in NYC metro area. A starting compensation range for this role is $142,500.00 - $182,525.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors. You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
