The restaurant is known for its warm atmosphere, reflecting the passion of its chef-owners, Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Executive Beverage Director to oversee the day-to-day beverage operations at F&F Pizzeria. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive beverage strategy, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist with the development of our seasonal cocktail menu, including employee trainings and event beverage programs.
  • Manage proper operating standards for the restaurant, including all food safety and labor compliance.
  • Ensure an excellent and warm service experience for all guests, responding positively and promptly to guest concerns and complaints.
  • Drive standards of service and provide continuous support to all staff, actively participating in service as needed.
  • Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant at all times.
  • Ensure the restaurant is staffed effectively to execute all service standards.
  • Properly open and close the restaurant during shift, including any necessary financial reporting.
  • In conjunction with our beverage team, order all beverages, including non-alcoholic beverages on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with leadership to conduct beverage inventory monthly and ensure all beverage storage areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Assist with weekly beverage receiving.
  • Achieve weekly sales goals set in collaboration with our General Manager and provide weekly reporting of glass sales for ordering purposes.Requirements
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership position at a restaurant.
    • Expert wine and beverage knowledge.
    • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to teach and mentor employees.
    • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Google Docs.
    • Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • NY Food Handler's Certificate a plus.
    • English Fluency, Spanish knowledge is a plus.
    • The ability to meet the physical demands for this position, including: seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
