This includes translating strategies into planogram executions, serving as the primary resource for stakeholders, and being an expert in analytics, assortment discipline, and key systems like POS, Syndicated Data, and JDA Space Planning Software. The role requires operating effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.Responsibilities:

• Serve as Category Captain/Advisor on specified categories
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations on Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing, and Promotions
• Support the customer during planogram resets
• Uncover business opportunities using analytics and resources like Syndicated Data and Market Assessments
• Collaborate on research projects and activate findings
• Develop growth plans for segments/brands and identify opportunities
• Influence and implement planogram activations and improvements
• Integrate customer insights into category management
• Conduct store visits for merchandising assessment and improvement suggestions
• Share best practices within the teamQualificationsWhat we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least five (5) years in customer insights, category management, or related experience
  • Strong understanding of shopper and category insights, syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen)
  • Experience with planogram software (JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo)
  • Proficiency in analytical software and MS Office
  • Ability to organize and complete work independently
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex information
  • Experience in project planning and execution
  • Up to 50% domestic travel requiredWhat's in it for you
