Job Description Summary: We are seeking a Med Surg RN with 2+ years of experience who is licensed in New Jersey and proficient in BLS, with a strong ability to work in a team environment with a 1:5-6 patient ratio.

• Responsibilities:
  • Providing patient care for adult and geriatric patients with general Med Surg diagnoses.
  • Monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Requirements:
    • 2+ years of Med Surg experience.
    • New Jersey RN license and BLS certification required.
    • Ability to work 2 out of 3 holidays and float to other MS/Tele units as needed.Unit Information: Our unit is a 23-room, 38-bed Med Surg unit with a patient mix that includes adult and geriatric patients with general Med Surg diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Holiday Policy: We follow the RWJBH holiday policy, which requires working 2 out of 3 holidays. This policy is in place to ensure adequate staffing and provide the best possible care for our patients.
