Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
• Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of direct care to residents.
• Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
• Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise or update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab/test results, incidents, and/or concerns.
• Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
• Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care of resident CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
