Job Summary:Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, a 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, has an opening for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work on a weekend shift. Our luxurious and hotel-like environment provides an ideal setting for those in need of Post Acute Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care.Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
• Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
• Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, monitoring residents for desired or unwanted effects.
• Communicate with the care team to revise or update the Nursing Care Plan.
• Monitor and document vitals, treatments, and resident responses.
• Prepare, organize, and oversee the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed and registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
  • Dedicated to providing clinically sound and compassionate care.
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create a rehabilitation-friendly atmosphere.
  • Genuinely interested in helping residents.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff.Benefits:
