Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in
Prior Authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to process referrals and clinical
assessments
Evaluate prior authorization requests and render coverage
determinations based on clinical criteria
Maintain communication with healthcare providers and ensure timely
conveyance of decisions
Required Qualifications and Education
2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a PBM setting
Current experience in Commercial Prior Authorizations
Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of
residence
Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
Experience using clinical resources like Micromedex and
Lexicomp
