Job Description Job Description Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Allergy Location: [Insert City/State] Job Type: Part-time considered Reports To: Medical Director About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Allergy and Immunology to join a collaborative healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver expert care to patients with a wide range of allergic conditions while working in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive allergy assessments, including patient history and physical examination. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic conditions (e.g., rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, anaphylaxis). Order and interpret allergy testing (skin, blood, spirometry, etc.). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including allergen immunotherapy. Provide education and counseling to patients and families on allergen avoidance, medication usage, and lifestyle management. Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. National certification as an NP (FNP, ANP, or equivalent); specialization or experience in Allergy/Immunology strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience as an NP, with at least 1 year in allergy or related fields preferred. BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
