Job Description:

Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Associate to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is critical in delivering high-quality care to our patients who are in the post-acute phase following hospitalization or surgery. The ideal candidate will assist in daily living activities, support the rehabilitation process, and contribute to the overall health management of our patients, ensuring a comfortable recovery environment. Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor patient health status and report changes to registered nurses and doctors. Support physical therapists and other rehabilitation staff in administering therapies. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and families on health care and post-treatment home care needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards Physical endurance and ability to assist patients physically Empathy and a supportive attitude Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
