Our client, a leading organization in the food service industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Cook to join their team. As a Production Cook, you will be part of the kitchen operations supporting high-volume food preparation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Cook Location: Elmsford, NY Pay Range: 21-24/hr. based on experience Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm Temp-Perm Opportunity What's the Job? Prepare large batches of food following established recipes to ensure quality and consistency Operate industrial kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment in compliance with health regulations Manage inventory, assist with food supply movement, and ensure proper food rotation Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment What's Needed? Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment such as hospitals, universities, or schools Proficiency with kitchen tools and machinery, including strong knife skills Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills What's in it for me?
