Qlikview Developer

Job Description:

Modis has an immediate need for a Qlikview Developer for a 6+ month contract opportunity with our direct client in the healthcare industry. Successful candidate will have 4 + years in Qlikview development with Qlikview certification preferred and minimum 7+ years’ experience in IT and business intelligence. Responsibilities:
• Develop Qlikview dashboards for multiple business functions within clinical department
• Develop Qlikview BI solutions incorporating features available from Qlikview 11 to integrate data from multiple sources, scheduling, distributing and developing code to develop interactivity and connectivity within data.
• Understand business requirements and execute on SDLC concepts/ project management concepts
• Experience in optimizing existing QlikView reports with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Generate QVD files to feed QlikView applications.
• Experience in Incremental Loading & QlikView document Versioning.
 
Required Skills:
• Minimum 4 + Years in Qlikview development with Qlikview certification preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in IT and business intelligence.
• Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.
 
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least 7, typically ten years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
