Job Description:

The Sommelier will support the beverage program with a focus on wine service, maintaining high standards of quality and service, while maximizing profits. This position must provide exceptional guest service and meet/exceed budgeted expectations.

Key responsibilities include:
* Working the floor during service with emphasis on beverage sales and up-selling opportunities
* Maintaining thorough knowledge of all beverages and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
* Ensuring proper execution of beverage changes and communication with the team
* Overseeing maintenance and cleanliness of all beverage-related areas
* Promoting updated knowledge of company policies and procedures
* Managing expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements include:
* Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience in a similar position
* Extensive knowledge of food and beverage to service and upsell products
* Professional and polished approach to leadership with a passion for hospitality
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic with a team player mentality

Physical requirements include the ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
