Job Description:

We are seeking experienced hosts to join our opening team.
The Host/Hostess will be responsible for assisting the Manager to coordinate all reservations, dining room, guest assistance, guest needs and the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant.
The Host will communicate to various departments in the restaurant all special notes (birthdays, Allergies, Special requests...).

Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls and transfer inquires to correct department heads.
• Make and cancel reservations via Resy.
• Confirm daily reservations via phone call.
• Respond to restaurant emails in a timely manner.
• Communicate messages to senior staff regarding special requests, needs and complaints.
• Organize the greeting, seating and exiting of all guests with a professional demeanor.
• Organize all reservations and guests using effective procedures.
• Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain guest relationships for repeat business.
• Provide high-quality service to guests at all times.
• Aware of all guests' needs, reservation needs and restaurant needs at all times.
• Maintain the integrity of service.
• Maintain a clean work area.

  • Pleasant and cheerful disposition.
  • Professional and effective communication with guests and staff.
  • Ability to use Resy Reservation platform.
  • Phone communication skills with guests.
  • Availability to work late nights and holidays.
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods without sitting.
