Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle incoming calls from members and providers regarding prior authorization processes
Document all approvals and denials accurately and in a timely manner
Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service position, preferably in a high-volume call center
Experience in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position is preferred
Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred but not required
