defining an architectural vision and solution that supports the
strategic outcomes of the Business' Products and Services. Key
responsibilities include defining the target operating environment,
designing for client resiliency, assisting with solution design,
and defining non-functional requirements. Job expectations include
working with stakeholders and service providers aligned to the
Business' strategic objectives, evaluating the impact of strategic
design decisions, and contributing to the architecture
roadmap.Responsibilities:
- Works across the business, operations and technology to create
the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions
and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a
technology backlog to enable the technology roadmap and
functionality to support evolving capabilities and services
- Contributes to the creation of the architecture roadmap of
defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) in
support of the product roadmap and the development of best
practices including standardized templates
- Clarifies the architecture, assists with system design to
support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve
any architectural impediments
- Facilitates solution driven discussions, leads the design of
complex architectures, and finds creative solutions through
knowledge of domain, practical experiments, and proof of concepts
while ensuring architecture is flexible, modular, and
adaptable
- Educates team members on the technology practices,
standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative
solutions
- Supports the team as needed to select the technology stack
required for solutions and helps select preferred technology
products

architect. The candidate must have relevant experience working in
the financial sector and have a strong understanding around
regulatory, compliance, legal, and business requirements. The
individual must be able to create and drive technology roadmaps
governed by strategic direction, business requirements as well as
resourcing and financial considerations as well as interpret
diverse regulatory, compliance, and legal requirements into
technical solution frameworks for Collaboration and
Productivity.Requirements & Responsibilities
- Interprets diverse regulatory, compliance, legal and business
requirements into technical solutions framework for Collaboration
and Productivity.
- Provide technology roadmaps governed by strategic direction,
business requirements as well as resourcing and financial
constraints.
- Works across multiple vendors and internal partners to produce
technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to
regulatory, compliance, legal and business needs and
direction.
- Provide technical direction and frameworks to meet business
needs. Provide expert consultation for major network initiatives or
incidents. Produce and/or endorse network standards.
- Provide advice and recommendations specific to customer
requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies against business and IT
strategic needs. Serve as a key representative on network
initiatives. Update standards and guidelines.
- Review the feasibility of new and existing IT projects. Write
technical and business documentation. Lead high level scoping and
costing activities. Guide and influence team members and business
colleagues.Regulatory Compliance and Legal Cloud Architecture
thought leader with a proven record directing efforts in
architecture and design recommendations, including the following
areas:
- Architectural design and application delivery in technologies
that include, cloud, mobile, web, APIs/microservices, automation,
continuous integration/continuous deployment, AI/ML and emerging
technologies;
- Evaluating cloud application requirements and make
architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and
provisioning applications including AWS, Google, Microsoft clouds
across Collaboration and Productivity services.
- Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available,
fault-tolerant, and reliable applications
