be part of a dedicated team responsible for overseeing Voya
Investment Management's growing alternatives business, focusing on
Fund Alternatives Operations. The Fund Alternatives platform is now
$3+billion across a suite of alternative credit, residential and
commercial mortgages, and project finance. Growth of the Fund
Alternatives platform is a key corporate initiative, and there is a
robust product pipeline across multiple investment strategies and
asset classes. Preference is for a candidate with knowledge of
direct lending, fixed income, derivatives, and/or FX markets. The
position will need to partner with internal stakeholders and
third-party service providers; candidate should be a collaborative
team player while also able to work independently, with strong
organizational skills and attention to detail. The Contributions
You will Make:
- Prepare and assist with position and cash reconciliations
against third party administrator, counterparties and custodian and
follow up on breaks accordingly.
- Review P&L against the third-party administrator and follow
up on breaks accordingly.
- Review of the net asset value and financials prepared by the
administrator.
- Monitor cash balances and prepare daily cash forecasts,
preparation of invoice payments and other cash payments.
- Review and preparation of Board, investor, and regulatory
reporting requirements.
- Work with the administrators, prime brokers, and other service
providers to whom we outsource services.
- Maintain processes and controls for reconciliation and
reporting.
- Assist with new product development and account opening
documents.
- Completing ad hoc requests.Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in
fund operations.
- A strong understanding of the dynamic fund operations and
regulatory requirements applicable to private funds.
- Understanding of direct lending, fixed income and
mortgage-backed securities and derivatives preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Team player, flexible and ability to adapt.Preferred Knowledge
and Experience:
- Experience in multiple jurisdictions, including European-based
and Cayman based private funds, is preferred.#LI-BMSCompensation
Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable,
which means comparable pay for comparable roles and
responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the
expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s)
listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive
opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives,
and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the
achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this
salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work
within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya
Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual
compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based
upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience,
education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be
finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will
be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be
